“LAKE CHAMPLAIN” Thesis Film
Lake Champlain was my final thesis film upon graduating from SVA NYC’s Computer Arts Department in 2021. As something of a love letter to the creatures that fueled my imagination growing up, it is a short creature feature about a cryptozoologist — someone who searches for and studies creatures of modern myth and urban legend — getting more proof of their existence than he could’ve ever asked for.
I handled nearly every aspect of production, from storyboarding to modeling, rigging, texturing, and animating, all the way to filming, effects, editing, and compositing, all within the nine-month time constraint of the senior year.
